Jim Parsons: I’m Gay

Jim Parsons, the Emmy-winning star of The Big Bang Theory, quietly came out of the closet in a New York Times profile published online on Wednesday. Parsons, who will be starring in a Broadway revival of Harvey, does not directly say he is gay, but the profile says that has been in a 10-year relationship with a man. There have been rumors about Parsons’s sexuality—especially since his role last year as a young gay activist in The Normal Heart—but he has never explicitly addressed them.
