Obama Filing WTO Complaint Against China

As the president embarks on his two-day Betting on America Bus Tour through Ohio and Pennsylvania Thursday, the Obama administration is set to file an unfair trade complaint with the World Trade Organization against China for imposing new taxes on American-made cars. Obama mentioned the complaint in his speech in suburban Toledo today, as the Toledo-made Jeep Wrangler is one of the cars affected by the contested duties. President Obama is courting blue-collar male workers on his current bus tour and he's long made his administration's auto industry bailout an example of how he's interested in protecting workers. This new action against China aims to further that argument.
