    Drudge: Condi Rice at Top of VP List

    Sorry, Marco Rubio. Former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice is the current frontrunner to be Mitt Romney’s vice president, according to the Drudge Report. The report also said that the announcement is set for the “coming weeks.” Rice has previously indicated that she has no interest in seeking the office. In a recent interview, she went so far as to say, “There is no way I would do this.” But her recent speech at a retreat for Romney donors and Ann Romney’s comments that they are considering a female VP have fueled speculation that Rice may be selected.
