Mitt Picks Paul Ryan for VP

    At long last Mitt Romney has picked a running mate, and it's Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin. The Republican presidential contender notified supporters of his decision via his campaign's iPhone app around 7 a.m. on Saturday morning and will make an official announcement today. Ryan, chairman of the House Budget Committee, beat out former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty and Ohio Sen. Rob Portman for the gig following a recent push of support from conservatives.
