If you can't fight them, join them. After organizers of the GOP convention failed to persuade ABC, CBS, and NBC to adjust their primetime schedules to accommodate the event, they have moved Ann Romney's keynote speech to Tuesday evening. The conflict arose because the Republican convention this year is a day longer than the Democrats', putting networks with an interest in fairness in a tight spot. So don't worry about missing any summer syndication: on Monday night, when the speech was initially planned to take place, the networks plan to air reruns of their own shows.
