Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. has returned home after almost a nine-week stay at the Mayo Clinic where he was reportedly being treated for bipolar depression, according to The Chicago Tribune.  Rumors swirled about a possible “mood disorder” after Jackson checked into the clinic on June 25th. Mayo officials put an end to the speculation after issuing a statement mid-August that he was being treated for “bipolar II depression.” Now that he’s relaxing at home in D.C. with his wife and kids, Jackson’s chief of staff Rick Bryant says he’s “hopeful”  the Congressman will return to work on Monday. With Congress set to formally convene on September 10th, he’d be right on time.
