Obama: Libya Isn’t ‘Time for Politics’

In an interview with Telemundo Wednesday night, President Obama said he would be steering clear from making the recent events in Libya and Egypt into political selling points and would “not having ideological arguments on a day when we are mourning the loss of outstanding folks who have served our country very well.” In an earlier interview, Obama said Romney “seems to have a tendency to shoot first and aim later” after the GOP candidate accused the president of sympathizing “with those who waged the attacks.” In the Telemundo interview Obama also added that America’s relationship with Egypt is delicate saying “I don’t think that we would consider them an ally, but we don’t consider them an enemy.”
