    Mitt: Palestinians Don’t Want Peace

    What else is going to come out in this video? In the recently leaked video from a May 17 fundraiser, Mitt Romney declared that Palestinians have “no interest” in peace with Israel—and he indicated that he would not continue efforts for Mideast peace if he is elected. Romney said Palestinians are “committed to the destruction and elimination of Israel” and “the idea of pushing on the Israelis to give something up to get Palestinians to act is the worst idea in the world.” The video from the fundraiser, leaked to Mother Jones on Monday, has made headlines given Romney’s comments that “47 percent” of Americans are “dependent on the government.”
