A potential breakthrough was made Wednesday night in the search for Jessica Ridgeway, the 10-year-old girl from Colorado who was allegedly abducted Friday during her walk to school. Police removed a body from Pattridge Park in Arvada, an area known for its abandoned coal mines, though it’s still unclear if it is Ridgeway. Though police confirmed the discovery of the body, they haven’t revealed the gender or approximate age. Police are exploring the possibility of a connection between Ridgeway’s abduction and that of an 11-year-old girl from Wyoming who was kidnapped and then released after several hours on Monday.
