Fleeing NYC Slasher Left Apology

A man suspected of slashing to death the 25-year-old Red Bulls youth soccer coach last weekend on a New York City street fled to Mexico City on Tuesday, a law enforcement official said. This doesn’t do much. Orlando Orea, the man suspected of cutting off a youth soccer coach’s ear before slashing him to death in New York City, left an apology note at his Queens home before fleeing to Mexico. The letter “basically makes a statement that he’s sorry,” says Police Commissioner Ray Kelly. Orea managed to board a flight to Mexico just hours before he was linked to the murder. Currently, the NYPD, Justice Department, and Interpol are collaborating on the manhunt in Mexico. Have they checked all the Van Gogh galleries?
