President Obama opened up a commanding lead in the latest survey of Wisconsin voters. Marquette Law School released a poll on Wednesday that shows the president is up by 8 points over his Republican challenger in the Badger State. Fifty-one percent of likely voters said they’d pull the lever for Obama compared to 43 percent who are backing Romney. Obama’s lead is well outside the 2.8 percent margin of error. Marquette’s last poll, which was conducted Oct. 11 through 14, showed the candidates roughly tied, with Obama and Romney at 49 percent and 48 percent, respectively.
