Mourdock Loses Indiana Senate

    Perhaps God intended it to happen this way. Fox News projects that Democrat Joe Donnelly defeated controversial GOP candidate Richard Mourdock in the state’s Senate race. Mourdock was the last in a string of Republican candidates to face a firestorm of controversy after making incendiary rape comments. After beating out venerable Sen. Richard Lugar for the Republican nomination in Indiana, Mourdock said during a debate that pregnancy after a rape is “something that God intended to happen.”
