    WA, CO First States to Legalize Weed

    It’s high times in Washington and Colorado. On Tuesday, they became the first states to make it legal for individuals to possess and sell marijuana for purely recreational use. In Colorado, Amendment 64 won with 52.7 percent. Washington’s Initiative 502 passed with a “commanding lead on initial vote counts,” The Seattle Times reports. Massachusetts voters also legalized medical marijuana use in their state. Looks like green really is the new black.
