Now that the hard work of winning re-election is over, President Obama is turning to an even more difficult task—fixing the economy. The White House announced Thursday that the president will be addressing the nation about the challenges that lie ahead and his priorities for the coming months. Obama’s statement, which he is expected to deliver at 1:05pm on Friday, will address his plan for avoiding the fiscal cliff, reducing the deficit, and keeping the economy growing.
