Those post-election pledges of bipartisanship sure didn't last long. Just eight days after the election, Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham have vowed to block Susan Rice from becoming the next secretary of State because of her role in the aftermath of the Sept. 11 Benghazi attack. President Obama appeared angry with the threat at a press conference Wednesday, saying the senators should focus criticism on him alone. Senator McCain certainly did that as well, claiming that when it comes to Benghazi, the president "did not tell the American people the truth" adding that "this administration has either been guilty of colossal incompetence, or engaged in a coverup." Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, hasn't been nominated for the State Department position yet, but is widely considered a frontrunner.
