Play it again, Sam. One of the two pianos featured in the classic movie Casablanca was sold for $600,000 at a Sotheby's auction on Friday. Offered for sale by an anonymous Japanese collector who wished to commemorate the film's 70th anniversary, the piano was expected to bring in as much as $1.2 million. The instrument was featured in one of the movie's Paris flashback scenes, in which the pianist character Sam plays "As Time Goes By" while Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman lean on it, toasting champagne and whispering sweet nothings.
