    Indian Victim’s Dad: Hang the Rapists

    The father of a woman who died after being brutally gang raped on a bus in New Delhi is calling for her attackers to be put to death by hanging. Prosecutors say they will be seeking the death penalty—which is rare in India—for the accused gang-rapists. Five men and a teenager have been arrested in connection to the Dec. 16 attack, and the adults were charged Thursday with rape and murder. The reported juvenile is expected to be tried in a juvenile court. The 23-year-old medical student’s rape and subsequent death has led to days of protests in India.
