Police Shoot Gunman in Movie Theater

Police shot a gunman during a screening of Les Miserables at a San Diego movie theater. No one else was injured in the shooting, which took place at the Reading Cinemas Carmel Mountain. The gunman has been identified as 20-year-old Tom Billodeaux. Police had been engaged in a manhunt to find Billodeaux after he fought with his girlfriend and brandished a handgun elsewhere in the mall where the theater is located. He was taken to the hospital after being shot in the arm and the chest. Billodeaux had reportedly written a suicide note, though he never threatened anyone else in the theater.
