Just a Barbie girl, living in a Barbie world. The world’s first Barbie Café opened in Taiwan on Wednesday, with enough pink to make Skipper blush. Located in Taipei’s main shopping district, the Barbie Café features chairs modeled after tutus, candy-colored couches, and fashion sketches of the doll on the walls. The menu features a seafood dish made to look like a jewelry box among its options of American, French, and Italian cuisine. Although Barbie has always been somewhat of a career gal—how many different jobs can she boast?—the café, at least according to its Facebook page, is looking for customers who are “princesses.”
