Texas authorities have arrested Eric Williams, a former justice of the peace, under the charge that he made a "terroristic threat" after his home was searched in relation to the shooting deaths of District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife, Cynthia. Williams has not been named a suspect in those shootings, and no further details have been released—but his bond was set at $3 million for three total charges. He was stripped of his title after a 2012 conviction of burglary of a building and theft by a public servant.
