FAA Furloughs Hit Air Travel

Slowly, but steadily the sequester is hitting the general populace. Beginning on Sunday, travelers experienced significant delays at U.S. airports as the Federal Aviation Administration kicked off furloughs that decreased staffing by 10 percent. The reduction of air traffic controllers lessened the ability of busy airports to handle air traffic, causing delays of multiple hours at some airports.
