It certainly isn’t the worst leak this month. On Friday, Kanye West’s new album, Yeezus, was leaked online four days before the official release, sparking a Twitter trend and undoubtedly thousands of illegal downloads by fans across the globe. It’s the sixth solo release for West, and features, among others, Daft Punk, Frank Ocean, Kid Cudi, along with samples from the likes of Nina Simone and blues artist Latimore. At the Governors Ball music festival in New York last weekend, he told fans he was unconcerned about sales. “Honestly at this point, I could give a f--k about selling a million records as long as I put out an album for the summer that y’all can rock to for all ... summer,” he said.
