Report: Nigella Lawson Assaulted

A date night turned ugly for Nigella Lawson last week when her husband, art dealer Charles Saatchi, allegedly escalated an argument to physical violence. Photographs published on Sunday of the two at an outdoor table at a London restaurant appear to show Saatchi grabbing Lawson by the throat. Witnesses claim that Saatchi then backed down without intervention. Lawson reportedly drained her glass of wine and attempted to calm him down, but Saatchi left by himself in a waiting car. Scotland Yard did not report any complains related to the alleged incident.
