A day of family entertainment turned tragic on Saturday when a stuntwoman’s plane crashed at Ohio’s 39th Vectren Dayton Air Show, killing her and the pilot. The entertainer, wing-walker Jane Wicker, was sitting on top of the 450 HP Stearman when it crashed, bursting into flames as it hit the ground. "It's part of what they do for a living," said one of the air show's organizers, Michael Emoff. "They know the risks. They do this because they love it. But it's devastating." The identity of the pilot is being withheld until family members can be notified.
