Their knock on the door went unanswered. State and local police spent hours at the home Tuesday as another group of officers searched an industrial park about a mile away where a body was discovered the day before. The investigation into New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez's role in the murder of a man found just one mile from his home continued through the weekend. Police reportedly searched the football player's house, backyard, playhouse, and two vehicles for more than three hours Saturday, using K9 unites, a locksmith, and a crowbar. Witnesses say that authorities carried at least 10 bags of evidence outside the home but could not confirm what the bags contained. No charges have been filed in the death of Odin Lloyd, Hernandez's friend whom he was allegedly with the night of his death.
