Glee star Cory Monteith died from a mix of heroin and alcohol, according to the British Columbia Coroners Service. A statement from that office said an investigation into the 31-year-old actor’s death is still ongoing but that the autopsy didn’t turn up any evidence of foul play. A full autopsy report will be released when the investigation is finished. Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room on July 13 after he didn’t check out on time. He had struggled with drug addiction, checking himself into rehab as recently as this past April.
