    It's a boy! After over 12 hours of labor, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, gave birth to a son. The heir to the throne was delivered at 4:24 p.m., weighing 8 pounds and 6 ounces. The announcement said that Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, was present for the birth, and that Kate and her son will remain in the hospital overnight.
