Seriously, can Anthony Weiner keep anything secret? Weiner told BuzzFeed’s Ben Smith on Monday night that his wife, Huma Abedin, will contribute to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign—except, um, Clinton hasn’t exactly announced she’s running yet. When asked if he knows what role Abedin will play in Clinton’s 2016 campaign, Weiner answered, “I do. I’m not telling you.” Clinton’s spokesman Philippe Reines said he has “no clue” what Weiner is talking about. Meanwhile, Weiner said Abedin has been “helping out every day” in his own campaign for mayor.

Except Clinton hasn’t announced her candidacy yet.

Correction: An earlier version of this news summary incorrectly referenced a quote from Anthony Weiner. His wife, Huma Abedin, is "helping out every day" in his own campaign, not that of Hillary Clinton.
