In the battle of Bob Filner vs. Glenn Beck and Hooters, is it possible to pick neither side? Four San Diego–area Hooters on Tuesday barred the city’s mayor from visiting, posting a sign that Beck recommended all area establishments use. “Our Hooters girls in San Diego have spoken,” Hooters tweeted. “Not a corporate gig, but we support our girls. #StepIntoAwesome” Filner, accused of sexually harassing more than a dozen women, reportedly returned from sex therapy on August 10, but he has not been seen in public since July 26.
