Drunk, Womanizing General Fired

Can you still get fired for "conduct unbecoming a gentleman"? Ask two-star Major General Michael Carey, who was dismissed in October after drinking and carousing with women during a government trip to Russia for nuclear security talks, according to an internal investigation report. Interviews with delegation members showed Carey, who oversaw the U.S. stock of intercontinental missiles, was rude, drank nonstop throughout the July trip, went for late rendezvous with women he'd met in Moscow, and showed up late to meetings. He was reassigned and is now the special assistant to the commander of Air Force Space Command.
