    NY OKs Medical Marijuana

    In the puff of smoke that's engulfed the nation, New York became the latest state to relax constrictions on medical marijuana. On Wednesday, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced he would authorize the use of pot for medical purposes starting with up to 20 hospitals that can prescribe the drug. "We will monitor the program to evaluate effectiveness in the feasibility of medical marijuana system," he said. Twenty other states already have similiar legislation.
