    While possibly thwarting travel plans and bringing weekend flooding, there will likely be a big sigh of relief in response to the expected storm front hitting dried-out Northern California this weekend. 2013 was the driest calendar year on record for the area, which was then followed by the driest January ever. Now, the Bay Area is expecting a quick turnaround with something called an "Atmospheric River" or "Pineapple Express" which will bring a burst of three to seven inches of rain.
