Snow makes Al Roker feisty. The Today show weatherman shot out a series of tweets bashing the decision not to close New York City schools as a blizzard descended upon the city early Thursday morning. "So now my daughter's NYC public school is being let out early. @NYCMayorsOffice @NYCSchools Is it worth putting kids' safety at risk?" he tweeted. Roker then went on to predict that de Blasio would be a one-term mayor. "I respect Al Roker a lot. It’s a different thing to run a city than to give the weather on TV," de Blasio replied when asked about the newsman's Twitter rant.
