Tina Fey took the wind out of a lot of millennials' sails on Wednesday when she shot down rumors of a Mean Girls sequel at the premiere of Muppets Most Wanted. With the movie reaching its 10-year anniversary, and a spate of reunions between Lindsay Lohan and former castmates, rumors of a potential Fey-penned sequel picked up steam. “We’re coming up next month on the 10-year anniversary of the original movie… I can’t believe it either. We're going to see if there's any way to get everyone together, but not a movie, sadly. We're all past high-school age," Fey told reporters.
