Yulia Tymoshenko is condemning Russia for broadcasting a phone conversation in which she heard urging the “wiping out” of Russians and Vladimir Putin. Tymoshenko, who was released from jail following the fall of former President Viktor Yanukovych, says that the voice is hers but that her words have been manipulated. In the leaked phone call, Tymoshenko is heard saying "One has to take up arms and go wipe out these damn 'katsaps' [a derogatory Ukrainian term for Russians] together with their leader," and “I would have found a way to finish off these bastards."
