The real summer blockbuster in 2014 won't be a Will Smith or Tom Cruise vehicle, instead it will likely be the eagerly-anticipated memoir by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The memoir, to be released June 10, does not yet have a title, will be seen as the first major attempt by Clinton to define her years in the Obama administration. In it, Clinton "shares candid reflections about key moments during her time as Secretary of State as well as her thoughts about how to navigate the challenges of the 21st century." Clinton has spoken about the book on the speaking circuit since leaving office, joking that it will be "just another light summer read" on topics from "Crimea to climate change." She has also discussed the writing process, jokingly describing her study as being from "an episode from 'The Hoarders,'" and possible titles like "Bossy Pantsuit" or "The Scrunchie Chronicles: 112 Countries and It's Still All About My Hair." Clinton is the author of three other books about her life and politics, as well as a children's book. The memoir will be published by Simon & Schuster.
