    Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo broke the Champions League single-season scoring record on Tuesday, notching twice to take his team to the final of the competition. His 15th and 16th goals, which came in just 10 matches, took the Real Madrid star past the record of 14 set by Jose “Mazzola” Altafini in the 1962-63 season and equaled by Lionel Messi in 2011-12.
