Syria Terrorist Attack Kills 11 Children

    A Syrian refugee woman holds the hand of her wounded son, after they were evacuated to Jordan for treatment after their border village "Al Shajara" was bombed by government forces, in the ICU room at the Princess Basma Hospital in Irbid, 80 km (50 miles) north of the capital Amman March 4, 2013. More than 30 wounded Syrians were evacuated yesterday by Syrian free army rebels after several border villages were shelled by the Syrian army during ongoing clashes with rebels. Four died shortly after crossing the border. The rest are being hospitalized with varying degrees of wounds and some are in critical condition, according to medics.     A pair of car bombs in the Syrian province of Hama killed 18, including 11 children, according to state media. A suicide bomber had detonated a booby-trapped car in the town of Jidreen, which also injured 50 others. No group has taken responsibility for the attacks but the government blames “terrorists.”
