Scandal at ‘Friday Night Lights’ School

    Permian High School, the school behind the book, movie, and TV series Friday Night Lights, has become embroiled in a major sex scandal, with five of its staff investigated for alleged sexual relations with students. One of those, Mark Lampman, 47, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest on Wednesday. He was the most recently investigated of five staff members, one of whom was cleared of wrongdoing.
