‘Parks and Rec’ to End with Season 7

    NBC

Get ready to say goodbye to Leslie Knope and the Pawnee parks department. NBC announced its 2014-2015 lineup on Saturday, revealing Parks and Recreation will end next year with its seventh season. NBC also said that the final season won't premiere until midseason, and there isn't an exact episode count yet. The announcement may not come as a total surprise to fans. The show never earned great ratings, and showrunner Mike Schur said after the season finale this year, "I'd say that the finish line is in sight at this point. I don't want to say definitively but we've had a lot of internal discussions about it.”
