Former West Virginia quarterback Pat White started a frenzy Wednesday when he claimed on Facebook that the University of Alabama offered him a Corvette during recruiting. Crimson Tide Coach Nick Saban, who was not at Alabama when White was being recruited, was asked about White’s claim Thursday. “I didn’t even know it happened so I can’t comment on it. Is that the best thing we can talk about? Kiss my ass,” responded Saban. White made the post on Facebook after current Alabama football player Derrick Henry posted a picture of himself next to his new Dodge Charger. In response, White wrote, “Stop pretending like you didn’t know the Crimson Tide has been doing this for years. Still glad I turned down a Corvette to become a Mountaineer.”
