A Mississippi Tea Party official was arrested Thursday in an investigation of a break-in at the nursing home of Sen. Thad Cochran's wife. Mark Mayfield, an attorney and vice chairman of the Mississippi Tea Party, and two others were arrested and face charges of conspiracy. In late April, Clayton Kelly, a local blogger, allegedly broke into the nursing home where Rose Cochran lives and filmed her for a weird, disgusting video touting Tea Party Senate candidate Chris McDaniel. Kelly faces 10 years for exploitation of a vulnerable adult.
