The notorious drug smuggler who once claimed he supplied 85 percent of America's cocaine is getting out of jail after 20 years. George Jung, now 71 years old, was portrayed by Johnny Depp in the film Blow and had been slated to get out of federal prison in New Jersey this November, but was released early. Jung was arrested in 1994 after being found with 1,754 pounds of cocaine, and was sentenced to 60 years, but was given time off for cooperating with authorities in another case. TMZ reports he is being released to a halfway house on the West Coast.
