LA Kings Advance to Stanley Cup Finals

    It may not be the iconic New York vs. Los Angeles rivalry of Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac (to put it mildly), but the two cities will be battling it out again. And this time, it will be on the ice. The Los Angeles Kings earned their ticket to hockey’s Stanley Cup Finals and will face the New York Rangers, who secured their spot Thursday night. While the New York team won its series in six games, the Los Angeles result was tighter; late Sunday night, the Kings took down the Chicago Blackhawks in an exciting game-seven overtime win. Chicago made the first two goals of the game, but the Kings battled back to ultimately steal the game with a 5-4 win.
