A fugitive bull, thought to have escaped from a slaughterhouse, roamed through the streets of Baltimore on Friday morning before being shot to death by police. A slaughterhouse employee said the bull managed to escape from the building, jump over two fences and a police car. The bull trotted away and police attempted to contain it, but as it passed a Starbucks and made it to the intersection of North Charles and Preston streets, it was fatally shot. “We have to take into account the safety of the surroundings of everybody,” Sgt. Sarah Connolly said.
