The FBI has responded to outrage over the leaking of hacked nude photos of dozens of famous women, including Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence and actresses Kirsten Dunst and Krysten Ritter, by saying it is probing the case. A statement from the agency said it is “addressing the matter” and would have no further comment “at this time.” Lawrence and others have said they may pursue legal action over the nude photos, which apparently were leaked by an anonymous hacker. A spokesman for Apple said the company also is investigating whether its iCloud system was hacked as part of the leak. Dunst is one of the celebrities who have pointed the finger toward iCloud.
