An elementary school teacher in Utah accidentally shot herself in the leg while in a restroom at the school Thursday. The teacher has not been identified, nor has an explanation been given for why a gun was discharged on school premises. The teacher was a concealed-carry permit holder, and school district policy her allowed to have a gun on campus. According to state law, schools must allow teachers with permits to carry firearms, and parents can’t find out if the teacher is carrying.
