A conservative lawmaker from the ruling party in Russia has declared that Apple CEO Tim Cook should be banned from entering Russia because he could have AIDS. Vitaly Milonov, the architect of Russia’s gay propaganda law, declared, “What could he bring us? The Ebola virus, AIDS, gonorrhea? They all have unseemly ties over there. Prohibit their [homosexuals’] entry forever.” The statement comes a day after Cook announced in an essay that he is gay. He also accused Cook of trickery, saying, “He’s like an artist, who at first popularized himself and then revealed himself to be gay.”
