A new report released by the Justice Department alleges that Drug Enforcement Agency agents had “sex parties” in Colombia with prostitutes hired by drug cartels. The allegations surfaced as part of an inspector general’s inquiry into sexual-harassment claims at a number of government agencies. The report states that 10 agents later confessed to participating in these parties, during which Colombian police are said to have provided “protection” for their weapons and property.
