Universal’s Furious 7 roared past the competition in its opening weekend, pulling in $143 million. That’s good enough to set a record for the month of April (passing last year’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier) and is the biggest opening weekend this year. It was the last film to include the recently deceased Paul Walker, who died in a car crash in 2013.
